Building was purchased by Warrington Housing Association.

Planning permission granted to turn the building into a new resource centre.

The GATEWAY was chosen as the new name.

WREN awarded funding to make the building more accessible to disabled clients.

The new conference suite opened. Funding for the construction of this new suite was provided by ‘ChangeUp Cheshire & Warrington’ and work was commissioned by Warrington Housing Association on behalf of the GATEWAY.

The GATEWAY won the RICS Community Benefit Award 2008, beating all eighty-nine entries received. The RICS Awards recognises the interaction between a project and its reach throughout the whole community ,

The Board won the Social Enterprise Board of the Year award presented by Cheshire & Warrington Social Enterprise Partnership.
